Carnetvivant

Terms of use

Version 1.1 · Last updated: 8 November 2026

1. What these terms cover

These terms govern the use of Carnet vivant, available at carnetvivant.fr and published by Soo Yeon LEE ("we"). By creating an account, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

2. What Carnet vivant does

Carnet vivant helps parents keep their child's carnet de santé in digital form. You photograph pages of the carnet, prescriptions, doctor's notes or vaccine stickers. An AI service reads them and suggests entries. You check each entry against the original and confirm it. You can then search the record, export it as a PDF and share it with a co-parent.

3. A free prototype

Carnet vivant is a free prototype, offered to gather feedback. It is not yet hosted by a certified health-data host (HDS). You decide what you upload: a sample page is a good way to start, and you can delete anything at any time. Features may change, and the service may be interrupted or stopped. If the prototype ends, we will tell you in advance so you can export your data.

4. Not medical advice

Carnet vivant is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, recommend treatment, calculate doses or replace a health professional. The original carnet de santé remains the reference. For any health question, contact your doctor; in an emergency, call 15 or 112.

The vaccination page shows the official French vaccination calendar for reference, next to the vaccines you have recorded. A vaccine shown as not recorded may simply not have been entered. Only your doctor can tell you whether a vaccine is due.

5. Who can use the service

You must be an adult (18 or over) and hold parental authority, or be the legal guardian, of each child you add.

6. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for what happens on your account. Tell us at contact@carnetvivant.fr if you think someone else has accessed it. You can delete your account at any time in your account settings; this permanently deletes your children's records that you created.

7. Your responsibilities

  • Check every AI-read entry against the original document before confirming it. AI can misread handwriting, dates or doses.
  • Only upload documents you are entitled to hold, about children in your care.
  • Do not use the service for any unlawful purpose or try to access other users' data.

8. Sharing with a co-parent

You can invite another adult who holds parental authority to view and add to a child's record. You can remove their access at any time. Records created by a co-parent remain theirs: deleting your account deletes only the records you created.

9. Our commitments

We do our best to keep the service available and your data secure, as described in the privacy policy. As a prototype, the service is provided without a guarantee of availability. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under French law.

10. Suspension

We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, for example if it is used to access other users' data. We will tell you why by email, and you can reply to contest the decision.

11. Intellectual property

The service, its design and its code belong to Soo Yeon LEE. Your documents and data remain yours. You allow us to process them only to provide the service.

12. Changes to these terms

Each version has a number and a date. We will tell you about important changes in the app or by email before they apply, and ask you to accept them at your next login.

13. Applicable law and contact

These terms are governed by French law. In case of disagreement, please write to us first at contact@carnetvivant.fr so we can find a solution together. You may also turn to the competent French courts.
